Georgia Shevitt and Olivia Block placed 9th and 14th, respectively, on Monday in WSC #3 at Kern River Golf Course in Bakersfield.

College of the Canyons claim the top two individual spots with Hanuka Koda firing a 3-under 70 and Jessie Lin shooting 71. The Cougars shot a red-hot 293 with five players between 70 and 78.

Moorpark will be at the North-South Invitational on Sunday and Monday at Morro Bay GC. Morro Bay will be the site of the State Championship on Nov. 11-12.

Moorpark College finished 6th in the state last season.
