Alisal River Golf Course in Solvang was the site of the So. Cal. Regional Tournament Nov. 11 and 12.

Georgia Shevitt again, after being a medalist at Elkins Ranch earlier this month, shot the low score for the Raiders in a WSC match played at Simi Hills Golf Course. Olivia Block’s (92) helped as the squad finished in 4th place as a team behind COC, SBCC and Bakersfield. The Moorpark squad will play in the WSC Championship (two day) tournament held a Alisal River Golf course in Solvang.

Georgia Shevitt fired a 10-over par 82 to place the Moorpark Raiders on Monday at Antelope Valley CC in Palmdale.

Moorpark’s Georgia Shevitt one-over par (73) claimed the medalist honors on Monday in WSC #5 at Elkins Ranch GC. A total of 31 players competed in the tournament under perfect conditions in Fillmore.

WSC #4 was played at the hilly San Dimas Golf Course. The Raiders showed great resilience by recovering quickly after playing tough and long holes. Moorpark finished fifth in the six-team WSC tournament. College of the Canyons, once again, finished first in scoring (315). Santa Barbara City College finished second with a (345).

The women’s golf team shot their lowest team score (379) of the year in the second round of the 14-team North-South Invitational women’s golf tournament at Morro Bay Golf Course Monday.

Georgia Shevitt and Olivia Block placed 9th and 14th, respectively, on Monday in WSC #3 at Kern River Golf Course in Bakersfield.
