Women's Track Ava Ball sets new school record in the 400m Hurdles at UCSD's Triton Invitational
Ava Ball – 2 PRs and Sets 400m Hurdles School Record!
Ava Ball went into the UCSD Triton Invitational with the intent to run her best. She started her day with a .24 improvement in her 100m Hurdle race! Three and half hours later she got in her starting blocks for the 400m Hurdle race. She went out hard and ran a fast first half of the race. When the pain hit at the 300m mark she was determined to show everyone what she is capable of and starting passing runners with ease! Ava's time of 1:02.90 was a season best by 1.49 seconds and a lifetime best by 1.09 seconds! It doesn't stop there. Her race earned her the #1 spot in the records book – Miss Ava Ball earned the school record in the 400m Hurdles! Congratulations Ava!!
