Bio

Jordon Points, a highly regarded and passionate soccer coach, brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to the Moorpark Raiders Women’s Soccer Staff, where he assumed the role of Assistant Coach in August 2023. With a strong foundation in coaching, Points made significant impacts as the Head Coach for the JV Women’s Team at California Lutheran University from 2017 to 2020. His coaching journey is marked by a comprehensive approach to player development, involving intensive training sessions, meticulous scouting, and recruiting efforts.

With an impressive 11-year tenure in Club Soccer Coaching, Points showcased his mentoring abilities at South Valley Surf in Bakersfield, California, and further solidified his reputation as the Head Coach of the 2010 ECNL-RL girls team and the 2008 ECNL-RL girls team at Eagles Soccer Club since 2017. His commitment to nurturing young talents and fostering holistic player growth has been a defining feature of his coaching career.

Educationally, Points holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education & Health Studies, earned from Rocky Mountain College in 2012. His passion for the game was not confined to coaching; he displayed exceptional skills as a player during his college years, contributing significantly on the soccer field. Additionally, he pursued higher education, completing a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University in 2022, enhancing his expertise in teaching and mentoring young athletes.

Points’ coaching journey extends internationally, where he gained valuable experience playing for IF Centern in the Swedish 4th Division during the summer of 2012, broadening his coaching perspective significantly. Today, he stands as a respected figure in the soccer community, admired for his holistic approach to player development and his unwavering dedication to the sport. As a member of the Moorpark Raiders Women’s Soccer Staff, Points continues to inspire and shape the future of soccer, promising a future filled with significant contributions to the world of soccer coaching.
