Women's Soccer Season ends in 3C2A SoCal Regional First Round

One of the the hardest things to do in athletics is to beat a team 3 times in a season. That is the scenario the Raider Women's Soccer team was given when the SoCal Regional brackets came out. Having defeated cross county rival Ventura, 1-0 and 4-1 in the regular season, the Raiders were placed in a play-in game against VC, at Ventura.

After 90 minutes and two 15 minute over-time periods, the opening 3C2A SoCal went to penalty kicks. It was 3-0 after 3 rounds of PKs but the 4th Moorpark kick sailed wide left. Ventura took advantage and made their last two shots to advance.

The Raiders end their season 7-2-3 in WSC North and 11-8-4 overall.
