Going into the final week of the season and only a point seperating the Raiders from WSC North co-leaders Santa Barbara and Hancock, the Raiders took to the road and disposed of a tough Pierce team, 2-0.
With both teams trying to gain control of the game, the Raiders were out-shot 9-1 and called for 8 fouls in the 1st half with niether team breaking through. 0-0 at the half.
The second half was a different story. The Raiders came out putting more pressure on the Pierce defense. Out-shooting the host 8-2, it was Taylor Selznick who found the back of the net in the 58th minute to put the Raiders up, 1-0. 22 minutes later in the 80th minute, Makayla Swain took the assist from Hannah Runyan and the Raiders took the commanding lead, 2-0. With the lead, the Raiders kept 8 back and ran out the clock.
