Wrestling finish in 7th at SoCal Regionals, 5 qualify for 3C2A State Tournament
The Raiders Wrestling team competed at SoCal Regionals and came away with a 7th place finish with 5 placers/qualifiers.
Leading the way for the Raiders was Jezziel Perez who at 177lbs took 2nd Place. At 165lbs, Armando Renteria finished in 3rd place.
Cameron Fernando,125lbs, and Gabe Carrillo, 157lbs took 4th in their respective weight classes. Miles Kline was 5th place at 197lbs.
HWT Joseph Ricardo and Albert Mechamal, 141lbs, are first alternates.
All the wrestlers will next compete at the 3C2A State Tournament hosted by Cuesta College begining Friday, 12/8 and runs through Saturday, 12/9.
