Fernandez, Hansen named wrestling All-Americans after State Tournament performance
The Moorpark College wrestling team wrapped up the 2021 season in the CCCAA State Tournament at Cerritos College Saturday night.
Joseph Fernandez finished the runner-up at 174 pounds. Luke Hansen defeated Justin Tripp of West Hills to take third place at 184. Luc LaVassuer took down Devon Peries of East Los Angeles to take 7th at 197.
The performance landed the Raiders a 9th-place finish at the meet.
Fernandez and Hansen were named to the All-American team.
