Meet Dylan Haskell, the Men's Volleyball Assistant Coach, whose journey in sports has been a lifelong odyssey that started in 1st grade and continues to this day, with his current venture as a professional player in San Diego. His passion for sports led him down a path that extends from being a player to a dedicated coach, fueled by the relationships he forged along the way.
Dylan's coaching journey took flight due to the profound connection he established with Aaron during his time here. This bond paved the way for him to step into the realm of college coaching, where he brings his wealth of experience and dedication to the development of athletes.
Dylan's coaching philosophy revolves around nurturing leadership through empowerment and experience. He believes in assigning roles that challenge players and push them beyond their comfort zones. By creating situations that enable them to learn from past events, he equips them with the tools to evolve into confident leaders.
His coaching career is adorned with moments of pride and triumph. Guiding players to college opportunities after Moorpark and achieving a remarkable 3rd place finish in State last season stand as testament to his commitment to excellence.
