Braden Gonzales named WSC Libero of the Year and four other Raiders named All-WSC
MOORPARK, CA - The WSC Men's Volleyball coaches announced their post season All-Conference awards and at the end of the day, the Raiders had a total of 5 players named to the All-WSC Team.
So. Libero Braden Gonzales, Thouand Oaks HS, was named WSC Libero of the Year. So. Setter Merit Ghodrat, Oak Park HS and Fr. OH Jacob Knudsen, Valencia HS were named 1st Team All-WSC North.
Fr. Oppo Taylor Phipps, Saugus HS and Fr. OH Kaipono Benson, Konaweana, HI HS were named 2nd Team All-WSC North.
Gonzales had 150 digs on the year and averaged 18 digs per set. Ghodrat had 588 assists on the year and was second in WSC averaging 8.65 assists per set. Knudsen was second in WSC with 227 kills with 91 digs and averaged 3.5 kills per set. Phipps led the WSC in hitting percentage, had 185 kills and 88 digs. Benson had 123 kills, 69 digs with 18 blocks.
The Raiders finished the year 12-7 and 8-4 in WSC.
