Men's Volleyball splits two games in WSC action, falling to Santa Barbara before defeating Antelope Valley

Men's Volleyball closed out their regular season splitting the last two WSC matches this week, losing to Santa Barbara in straight sets before coming back and defeating Antelope Valley, 3-0 on Sophomore Night. They closed out their season taking on Conejo Valley neighbor Cal Lutheran falling to Kingsman 3-1. 

Traveling to Santa Barbara in a crucial match-up, the Raiders made one to many hitting errors allowing the Vaqueros to open a 1 game lead, 25-21. Game two went back and forth going before ending in a 32-30 SB win. The Raiders had a chance to close it out at 26, 28, and 30 before the Vaqueros slipped a hit down the middle of the Raider defense. Game 3 went as game 2, back and forth but a serving error and a out of bounds spike ended the match, 25-23. 

On Sophomore Night the Raiders honored the out going sophomores. Libero Braden Gonzales, Thousand Oaks HS, Setter Merit Ghodrat, Oak Park HS, Setter Brandon Kaithathara, Cleveland HS and RS Outside Hitter Aidan Godfrey, Westlake HS.

The Raiders came out firing on all pistons and dominated the Marauders, 25-17, 25-15, and 25-10.

The Raiders end their season 8-4, 3rd place in WSC and 12-7 overall. They will now await CCCAA play-off seeding and will open quarter-finals on Friday, 4/19 with location and opponett TBA
