Jaclyn Brown, Johnny Slone crowned WSC champs at WSC prelims
The Western State Conference prelims is a two-day championship event that most athletes compet0e in to qualify for the WSC Finals the following week. However, athletes in five events compete as finalists, score points for their team and earn their way to the Southern California Regional Championships.
Here's how the Moorpark College men's and women's team did:
- Crowned two WSC Champions
- Qualified 22 individuals for the WSC Championships
- Qualified 7 individuals for the Southern California Regionals
- An additional 16 athletes set new personal records
Two Raiders were crowned WSC Champions:
