Meet Ryan Woods, a seasoned sports enthusiast with a rich journey in athletics. With a remarkable 12-year coaching tenure at Simi Valley High School and a background in soccer from his playing days at Wheaton College, Ryan's passion for the game is unwavering.

In his quest for new challenges, Ryan transitioned to the role of Assistant Men's Soccer Coach, bringing his unique philosophy to the field. He is a firm believer in the power of team-led rules and disciplined approaches. By fostering an environment where leadership thrives and every team member understands their role, Ryan establishes a strong foundation for success. He addresses discipline issues by empowering peer leadership, ensuring accountability and growth within the team.

Ryan's exceptional coaching prowess was recognized in 2019 when he clinched the title of Coastal Canyon League Coach of the Year and LA Daily Coach of the Year. His 2018/2019 High School team left an indelible mark, boasting an impressive combined record of 41-6-0.

Off the field, Ryan is a firm advocate for community-building and support for student athletes. He believes that unity is fostered when the team comes together beyond the pitch. When players and coaches genuinely care for each other, the synergy transcends onto the field.
