WSC Champion Men's Basketball sweeps post season awards as All-WSC North conference team announced
MOORPARK, CA - As expected, the #19 WSC North Champion Men's Basketball swept the majors post season awards as 6 players were named to the WSC North All-Confernce team.
Along with the athletes receiving reconigtion, Coach Keith Higgins was named WSC North Coach of the Year for the second time in a row. Higgins led the Raiders to a 11-1 WSC North record and thier first WSC title since 2016 and first outright championship since 2004.
Our other major award winners were Jack Benyshek, who was named WSC North Most Valuable Player and Jamaal Unuakalu who was named WSC North Defensive Player of the Year.
In addition, Benyshek, Kalu, Kenji Cooper, and Avi Halpert were named All-WSC North First Team. Clark Holden and Jordan Torres were named All-WSC Honorable Mention.
The other honor bestowed to Benyshek was that he named First Team All-State.
