Meet Peter Cady, the Football Tight End Coach whose journey in the realm of athletics commenced as a high school teacher and coach. The spark ignited during those early years led him on a path that eventually brought him to Moorpark College, where his impact has been nothing short of transformative.
In 2019, a serendipitous connection with a fellow coach led Peter to Moorpark College, and from that point on, his story intertwined with the annals of college football.
Peter's coaching philosophy is rooted in empowering leadership. He believes in nurturing natural team leaders, providing them with the platform to guide the team and rectify issues they identify. This approach not only instills a sense of ownership but also amplifies the team's collective strength.
Throughout his coaching career, Peter's accomplishments shine brightly. He secured two league championships as an offensive assistant coach for Oak Grove San Jose JV team. The pinnacle of his journey includes being a part of Moorpark's 2022 team that graced the Strawberry Bowl and contributing to the 2017 Taft Woodland Hills that made CIF playoffs.
