The Moorpark College football team ended its season on a high note by beating Antelope Valley College 27-13 at home Saturday night in the season finale.
Quarterback Macloud Crowton threw for 193 yards and a touchdown on 20 of 36 passing, while also rushing for 83 yards on 10 attempts. Mr. Reliable, Alexander Capka-Jones, was yet again the Raiders' lead wideout with 82 yards on seven receptions.
Kicker Daniel Burke made two field goals and was true on all PATs for nine total points.
Moorpark finishes its season 6-4 and 4-1 in conference play, good enough for a second-place finish in the American-Pacific Conference behind unbeaten Santa Barbara (9-1, 5-0 APC).
