Baseball goes 2-2 vs Allan Hancock in their season series finale

Playing at home on a Thursday for the first time in 6 weeks, the Raiders hosted Allan Hancock College and came away with wins of 4-3 and 5-2.

In game one, Trevor Sieger went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, Paden Riley went 2 for 3 with a run scored, Alex Vega went 1 for 3 with a RBI. Carson Stanfield got the win allowing 9 hits, Colin Mitchel got the save.

In game two, Alex Vega went 3 for 4 with a run and a RBI, Paden Riley went 2 for 4 with a RBI. Lance Kinross pitched a complete 9 innings scattering 8 hits and 4Ks to get the win.

Taking the road for game three, the Raider pitching allowed 12 runs in the second inning and the hosts cruised to a 13-6 win. Trevor Sieger went 2 for 4 with 2 runs, 4 RBIs, and a homerun, Trent Packard went 3 for 3 with a double and a RBI.

In theri season finale, the Raiders only managed to push 4 runs across in a 10-4 loss. Shane Leong-Griegor went 2 for 4 with a RBI, Alex Vega had 2 RBIs with a triple.

The Raiders finish their Covid abreviated season 14-11 overall and 10-9 in WSC play.
