Beach Volleyball opens WSC with two wins over Cuesta and Glendale
VENTURA, CA - After taking two weeks off from competition, the Raider Beach Volleyball team got back on the sand hosting Glendale and Cuesta in their WSC openers. The Raiders came away with two 5-0 sweeps against both teams
In the opener against Glendale, the Raider's #1 team of Larissa Dakoske and Grace Hazelton defeated the Vaquero's #1 21-10 and 21-18. The Raider's #2 team of Cashe Olswang and Alesia Thomas defeated Glendale's #2s 21-14 and 21-10. The Raiders received forfeit wins at 3s, 4s, and 5s
In the day's finale, the Raider's #1s Hazelton and Dakoske won their match 21-10 and 21-10. The #2s Olswang and Thomas won 21-13 and 21-8. The Raider's #3s team of Alexandra Moorhead and Gaina Tayco won their match 21-18 and 21-10. The Raider's #4 team of Heymin Jo and Emma Songco won their match 21-12 and 21-10. The Raiders got a forfeit win at #5s.
