In a dynamic week of Moorpark College Athletics, triumph echoed across the fields and courts. Men's and Women's Basketball charged into the season, leaving their mark in challenging tournaments and emerging with a praiseworthy 1 & 1 record. The enthusiasm peaks as the Women's Basketball team proudly hosts the MC Invitational this week, spanning Thursday to Saturday, promising three days of intense competition and spirited sportsmanship.
On the golfing greens, Women's Golf wrapped up their season on a high note, securing the 2nd overall position in the highly competitive Western State Conference. The team's success was propelled by the outstanding efforts of Lisette Martinez and Emma Anderson, whose skills and determination led them to victory.
In the realm of Women's Volleyball, the team finds itself in a thrilling three-way tie for first place in the WSC, sharing the spot with Ventura and Santa Barbara City College. The anticipation is palpable as they gear up to face LA Pierce in their final game of the season this Wednesday. With their eyes set on clinching the top position, the team is ready to bring their A-game to the court.
Excitement reverberates as our Cross Country team successfully qualifies for the State Championship, an achievement that speaks volumes about their dedication and talent. As they prepare for this prestigious event, the entire Moorpark community eagerly awaits to witness their exceptional performance and cheer them on to further glory.
