In-N-Out Raider Spotlight

Women's Volleyball: The No. 3-seeded Moorpark College women's volleyball team will face Rio Hondo College in the CCCAA Southern California Playoffs at home Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Raiders finished the regular season 16-4 overall and 8-2 in the Western State Conference.

Men's/Women's Basketball: The men's basketball team has extended its win streak to four games after taking down Bakersfield and Cerro Coso. Jeremiah Windham leads the team at 16 points per game. The Women's team won its last contest against East LA, led by Kaydn Mew and Sabrina Belquist - each poured in 20 points.

Cross Country: The Moorpark College men's cross country team finished 7th at the CCCAA State Championship over the weekend, led by Bryce Gardhouse's 5th-place finish (20:12.5) and Matt Russell's 11th-place effort (20:28.9). The women's team was led by Vanessa Avila.


TEAM SPOTLIGHT

Moorpark football is going bowling

The Moorpark College football team will play in the James H. Cobb Family Strawberry Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 26, at Allan Hancock at 1 p.m.
 
The Raiders ended its regular season on a high note by beating Antelope Valley College 27-13 on Nov. 12.
 
Quarterback Macloud Crowton threw for 193 yards and a touchdown on 20 of 36 passing, while also rushing for 83 yards on 10 attempts.
 
Mr. Reliable, Alexander Capka-Jones, was yet again the Raiders' lead wideout with 82 yards on seven receptions.
 
Kicker Daniel Burke made two field goals and was true on all PATs for nine total points.
 
Moorpark finishes the season 6-4 and 4-1 in conference play, good enough for a second-place finish in the American-Pacific Conference behind unbeaten Santa Barbara (9-1, 5-0 APC).
