Women's Cross Country finishes in 3rd place at WSC Finals
The Moorpark College Women's Cross Country team finished in 3rd place at the WSC Cross Country Finals hosted by Oxnard College. The Raiders finished with 94 points, 38 points behind 1st place College of the Canyons and 23 points behind Hancock.
The Raiders were paced by Kayla Saxton who was 12th overall in a time of 19:52.8 in the 5K race. Geidenn Gonzalez was 14th in a time of 19:54.3. Giselle Gozalez was 18th finished with a time of 20:09.3.
Kayla Saxon and Geidenn Gonzalez were named to the All-WSC 1st team. Giselle Gonzalez and Addison Pereira were named to the All-WSC 2nd team. Keira Kassi, Arianna Jimenez, and Isabella Shattuck were named All-WSC Honorable Mention
The Raider Women advance to the CCCAA Southern California Regional Final on Friday, November 8th at Chaffey College.
