#9 Women's Volleyball sweeps Pierce to open 2nd round of WSC North action

Coming off a bye, the #9 Women's Volleyball team hosted Pierce to open the 2nd round of WSC North action. The Raiders were 5-1 and atop the standings after the first round.
The Raiders wasted little time sweeping the Brahmas 3-0. Game scores were 25-13, 25-10, and 25-9. With the sweep, Coach Black gave his bench players some game speed experienceing but it was the starters that set the pace.
Danielle Bishop led the Raiders attack with 8 kills. Abby Montana added 7 kills. Gaby Shirado had 28 assists in the win.
The Raiders are currently 16-4 overall and 6-1 in WSC North. They will host rival Ventura on Wednesday, October 30th at 6p on Dig Pink Night.
