The #9 Women's Volleyball were hoping to extend their win streak before opening WSC North action next week. The Raiders played host to upset minded Santa Monica in the mid-week match-up while finishing on the road at Bakersfield.

In the week's first match, the Raiders opened the match with a 25-17 game one win. The next three games finished with identical 23-25 score in favor of the Corsairs and the three games were played indentically. Back and forth and when it looked like one team was pulling away, the other one would come back and tie and take the lead. Unfortunatly, it was the Raiders on the losing end of each game, 3-1. 

To cap the week off, the Raiders traveled over the Grapevine to take on host Bakersfield on Friday night. The Raiders opened the match dropping game 1, 17-25. However, the Raiders were able to dust of the road wear and take the next three games, 25-22, 25-19, and 25-20.

With the week split, the Raiders are a solid 10-3 going into WSC North action. They will be on the road for both games, first at Pierce, Wednesday, 10/2, 6p. followed by Ventura, Friday, 10/4, 6p.
