Women's Track and Field team post outstanding and personal bests at the Oxy Distance Carnival

With over 30 colleges, universities and clubs competing at the Occidental College our Raiders rose to the challenge! Four 2nd place finishes and several big improvements!
2nd Place Finishers:
- Keira Wyatt, 100m (12.50) .23 improvement!
- Malik Hensley-Prince, 100m (10.89)
- Men's 4x400m ran 1 second faster (3:26) (Powell Williams, Jeremy Gamble, Malik Hensley-Prince, Angel Laureano)
- Men's 4x100m, (Charles Young, Jeremy Gamble, Rashad Shamburger, Malik Hensley-Prince)
Honorable Mentions:
- Liliana Coleman made another 10'8" improvement in the javelin!!! (56'6")
- Kailani Chisholm improved 3" in javelin
- Denver Mack-Reyes improved 6 inches in the shot put (28' ¼")!!!
- Andrew Borzone with a .05 improvement in the 100m (11.93)
- Morgan Blanck cleared the pole vault with a PR of 1.85m (6' .75")
- 1500m Highlights / Improvements

- Isabella Shattuck had a huge 10 second improvement in the 1500m!!! (5:34)
- Tyler Smith finished 9th overall in the 1500m with a 4 second improvement!(4:00)
- Keira Kassi shaved 8 seconds off of her 1500m time! (5:06)
- Geidenn Gonzales ran 5 seconds faster in her 1500m (5:31)
- Carlos Villagomez (4:33) & Alfredo Irizarry-Ojeda (4:36) both had a 4 second improvement in the 1500m
- Logan Torres 1 second improvement in the 1500
- Season Openers in the 5K (over 200 competitors)
