The Kamaka Open was a large track meet (13 schools) with competition from some of the top community colleges in the state, 4-year universities and club athletes.  Several Moorpark Raiders shined!

• Luke Sawyer opened up his 2025 season with a 2^nd place finish in the 800m (1:55.67).
• Jeremy Gamble high jumped 6'2 ¾", a 4" improvement, to place 3^rd overall AND hit the A standard.
• Addison Pereira had a huge 13 second improvement in the 800 with her time of 2:35.
• Andrew Borzone had a double improvement today in the 100m (11.98) and 200m (24.62).
• Liliana Coleman had a 10'8" improvement in the javelin (45'10")!!!!
• Malik Hensley-Prince hit the A standard in his season opener for the 400m (48.29) which ranks him #3 in the State!
• Maya Natarajan hit the A standard in the 800m (2:22) which ranks her #2 in the State!
