The Moorpark College Women's Soccer team hosted Cuesta and finished the week at Hancock to conclude the first round of WSC North action. With the two wins, the Raiders are 3-3 in conference and 8-5 overall.

Coming off a 1-0 loss at Oxnard, The Raiders were looking to rebound hosting Cuesta. Lacy Roberts opened the Raiders scoring in the 10th minute. Alysa Diaz added to the Raider with a goal in the 26th minute. 2-0 Raiders at the half. In the 59th minute, the Raiders would earn a corner kick. Kaiya Holts hooked the ball around the near pole to add the 3rd goal. 3-0 final score.

To cap of the week, the Raiders traveled to Santa Maria to take on WSC North defending champion Hancock. After being fouled, Alysa Diaz found the back of the net in the 12th minute of the game. From their the Raider defense kept the Bulldogs at bay while being content to hang on for the 1-0 win. 

The Raiders will begin the second round of WSC North hosting Ventura, Friday, October 25th at 1:30p. It's a soccer double-header while the Raider men host Santa Barbara at 4p.
