Women's Soccer team continued their march through their WSC North schedule hosting Pierce before traveling to Oxnard to cap off the week. The Raiders defeated the Brahmas 3-1 to snap a 2 game losing streak while hanging Pierce's first loss in WSCN. At Oxnard, the Raiders might have overlooked the Condors dropping a 1-0 game.
Alysa Diaz scored twice in the 6th and 50th minute to give the Raiders a 2-0 lead. In the 58th minute, Catalina Anguita found the back net from an assist from Angelina Rodriguez to make it 3-0. Defensively, the Raiders dominated the game holding Pierce to just 3 shots allowing one goal in the 68th minute.
At Oxnard, the Condors scored in the 24th minute and made it stand.
The Raiders will host Cuesta on Wednesday, 10/15 @4p and travel to WSC defending champ Hancock on Friday for an early 1:30p start.
