Women's Soccer drops two to open WSC North action
The Women's Soccer team opened up WSC North action last week against Ventura and Santa Barbara. Both teams have been the nemesis of the Raiders the couple of seasons and this year is no different with the Raiders dropping a heartbreaker to VC, 1-0 and a hard fought battle to the Vaqueros, 4-2.

Capping off the week hosting Santa Barbara, the Raiders were down 2-0 early in the game before Catalina Anguita found the back of the net from a Kaiya Holt assist on the 29th minute. 2-1 Vaqueros.
It would stay 2-1 when Santa Barbara scored again in the 81st minute. With the Vaqueros packing in the defense, Taylor Selznick slipped a ball past the SB goalie to make the score 3-2 Raiders trailing. On their very next posession, Santa Barbara added thier insurance to the 88th minute. 4-2 final score.
