The Raiders are finding a groove.
The Moorpark College women's soccer team hasn't lost a match in its last three outings, and won its second of three Friday with a 2-0 win over Allan Hancock. The Raiders topped Cuesta (2-1) on Oct. 5 and drew with Oxnard Tuesday 1-1.
Katelyn Lathrop and Riley Tripp were the goal scorers Friday. Tripp's goal was assisted by Michelle Rodriguez.
The victory makes the Raiders 2-2-1 in Western State Conference play, and 6-7-2 overall. Moorpark is currently tied for 3rd place with Santa Barbara and Allan Hancock in the conference standings through five matches heading into its road match against the Vaqueros on Tuesday.
