Former Royal High standout Jacob Hansen won the CCCAA wrestling state championship at 165 pounds on Saturday (12/14/19). He was also named the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler.

Hansen was the No. 1-seeded wrestler from the south in the 165-pound bracket and eventually took down the No. 1 seed from the North Augistine Garcia by a 7-2 decision to claim the state title.

Hansen is only a freshman.
