In Fall of 2017, Moorpark had a wrestling program for the first time in eight years. Led by head coach Lindley Kistler, who was two-time Olympic Qualifier and a 3-time member of Iowa's Division I National Championship team. He was a 3-time conference All-American and 2-time NCAA Division I All-American, too.

This championship pedigree led to a very successful inaugural season for the Raiders, and turned into a great day for young wrestlers in the community this past weekend (June 23). Over 60 participants ranging from young to older learned the fundamentals, qualities and other nuances of wrestling.
