Bio

Daniel Tustin enters his 1st season as head coach of the Women’s Golf program. He brings three years of experience as the kinesiology golf instructor at Moorpark College. Tustin has also served for eight years as a coach for track & field and cross country at the community college, high school, NAIA, and NCAA levels. Among his proudest accomplishments are recruiting men’s cross-country teams at Moorpark College that won back-to-back WSC titles in 2021 and 2022.

 A former student of Moorpark College, Coach Tustin believes passionately in the community college system and its students. From day one of the recruiting process, his focus is on matriculating student athletes to 4 year universities. He believes firmly that Moorpark College can open up opportunities for anyone. 

 “Because of my time at Moorpark College, I was able to explore areas of study and eventually find my passion for coaching and teaching.” He now holds two Master’s degrees in Exercise Science and Business Administration.

 In his free time, Coach Tustin enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with his family.
