Women's Golf finishes 5th at 3C2A State Tournament, Lisette Orellana takes 2nd overall.

The WSC Champion Women's Golf team completed their season at the 3C2A State tournament. The Raiders ended the tournament with a two day total of 675 to secure a 5th place finish.

Playing in cold and breezy conditions, Lisette Orellano was able to maintain her game throughout the conditions and took silver-medalist honors, shooting a two-day total of 148. Orellana shot a two over 73 on day two to be in the clubhouse with the 148 and sitting in 1st but she had to wait until the last group posted their scores. The last group had COC's Sahya Kitabatake's who shot a 1 under 70 to post a two day 143 total to take honors.

With her 2nd place finish, Orellana was named to the All-State team to add to her All-WSC selection.

Taylor Waters who struggled with the conditions on day 1, shaved 9 strokes off her day one total to post a 173. Makayla Low played steady on both days to put up a 175 total. Kaila Aparicio posted a two day total of 179.

This closes the book on the best overall season in Moorpark College Women's Golf history.
