The #17 Men's Basketball team continued WSC North action by routing Oxnard College, 119-59. In the second game of the week, the Raiders kept the pedal on the gas, racing out to a 49-31 halftime lead against visiting Cuesta, eventually closing out the Cougars, 103-88.
Coming off a three point loss to Hancock, the Raiders seemingly decided to work out their frustrations while playing against Oxnard as they flew out to a 67-26 halftime lead. The Raiders kept the offense in 5th gear and every Raider that was suited up played.
Avi Halpert led the Raiders with 27 points, Jamaal Unuakalu continued his big year with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Dylan Hoyt and Jordan Torres scored 19 points and 11 points repectively off the bench.
Jamaal Unuakalu led the Raiders against Cuesta with 28 points and 19 rebounds. Avi Halpert scored 22 points while dishing out 10 assists. Chase Aronowitz added 17 points and JAck Benyshek chipped in 13 points.
The Raiders will have a bye before hosting Pierce on Saturday, 2/3 to begin the second round of WSC North action.
