Raider bats come alive in win over LA Harbor to open the week only to be stopped by Mother Nature

The Raiders opened the week hoping to take on La Harbor twice but were only to get one of the games in and came home with a 20-11 win over the Seahhawks. The scheduled second game put on hold for now until a date can be mutually agreed upon.
The Raiders were trailing 4-0 after 4 innings when the Raiders scored 11 runs in the top of the 5th. The Raiders sent 16 batters to the plate, scored 11 times on 7 hits and left 2 on base all with 2 outs. With two outs, Steve Nelson singled and the next batter, Nate Lajoie struck out but reached base on a dropped 3rd strike ball and E2. The next 12 batters would reach base, Nelson and Lajoie each scored twice. The Raiders would make it 17-4 before the Seahawks would get another run. The Raiders added 3 in the 9th and Harbor would push 6 across before the Raiders would get the 3rd out, 20-11.
Steve Nelson was 2 for 4 with 4 RBIs and a double. Nate Kaczynski was 2 for 5 with 5 RBIs and 2 doubles. Paul Millado picked up his first win, pitching 6 innings allowing 4 hits and struck out 5.
The Raiders hope to play at Fullerton on Saturday, 2/15 but after storm affects will determine schedule change if need be.
