We are pleased to announce that Aaron Hedland will be our new temporary full time Athletic Director.  He begins this week.  As most of you are aware, Aaron has been a member of our Athletics team for the last 13 years as Head Men's Volleyball Coach and Women's Assistant Volleyball Coach.

Aaron holds two graduate degrees from Concordia University - Irvine with a Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration and a Master of Sciences in Coaching and Exercise Science. He has also obtained two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California – San Diego in History and Sociocultural Anthropology. 

Aaron is also a former Moorpark College student-athlete having played volleyball from 2005-2007, earning All-Western State Conference and Scholar Athlete honors.

As he begins his new role, Aaron wanted to share, "My time spent at Moorpark College as a student athlete and as an educator have shaped my life immensely.  I am very excited for the opportunity to serve as Athletic Director.  In this new role, I hope to pay those experiences forward and contribute to Moorpark College Athletics commitment to excellence and student success.  I look forward to getting to know everyone better and to working with you all."

Aaron replaces Matt Crater who left to become Athletic Director at College of the Canyons.
