In a week brimming with athletic fervor, Moorpark College's teams showcased their prowess across various sports arenas. The Women's Soccer team thrilled fans by defeating Ventura for the second consecutive time at home. Anja Slattum emerged as a star player, scoring two remarkable goals that underscored Moorpark's dominance on the field.

Meanwhile, the Women’s Volleyball team celebrated a victory on their Sophomore night, triumphing over LA Mission. The atmosphere was electric as they displayed their skills and determination, marking a memorable evening for both players and supporters alike.

Looking ahead, the Cross Country team is gearing up for a challenging expedition to Long Beach for regionals, where they intend to leave their mark on the course. On the golfing greens, the Women’s Golf team holds a strong position, currently ranking second in the Western State Conference, as they head into the WSC Finals this week.

Excitement escalates as the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams prepare to kick off their seasons, with the Men's tournament this week set against Cerro Coso, Pierce, and Porterville. As the court heats up, anticipation builds for the exhilarating matches that lie ahead. Additionally, our Football team, battle-hardened and determined, heads to Santa Barbara, aiming to secure another victory for the season. With a track record of resilience, having lost only four games by a margin of less than ten points, the team enters the weekend with unyielding spirit, ready to conquer new challenges and add more victories to their impressive season.
