Six Western State Conference Championships Highlight the 2023-24 Season

Six Western State Conference Championships, 3 WSC Coach of the Year winners highlight the 2023-24 season.

Women's Volleyball ended in a 3 way tie for 1st place in the WSC North, going 8-2 in WSC, 15-9 overall. They fell to Rio Hondo in the CCCAA So Cal Regionals

Women's Basketball continued their dominance in the WSC North, going 12-0 in WSC North, 28-4 overall. It included a 23 game winning streak that included 4 wins over rival Ventura and a final four CCCAA State appearance, losing to eventual state champion Orange Coast College. Rebecca Saidof was named WSC North Player of the Year and Rome Falcoccio was named WSC North Defensive Player of the year. Keilani Peralta was name 6th Person of the Year. 

Men's Basketball finished atop the WSC North standings at 11-1 to win their 8th WSC championship in school history. Coach Keith Higgins was named WSC North Coach of the Year. Jack Benyshek was named WSC North Player of the Year and Jamaal Unuakalu was named WSC North WSC Defensive Player of the Year. They were defeated by Mt San Jacinto in the CCCAA SoCal Regionals.

Men's and Women's Track and Field completed the WSC Championship sweep in dominating fashion. The Men won their championship by more than 100 points. The Women won by 9 points but the competion was over after half the meet. The Women had 6 indivudual WSC Champions, while the men had 8 individual WSC Champions. At the CCCAA State meet, Ava Ball captured the 400m Hurdle State Championship. Cytres Vives was State runner-up in the Men's High Jump and Michael Holland was 3rd in the State 400m to lead the Men to a 5th place overall finish.

Softball finished atop the WSC North standings at 14-0. It was the 17th WSC Championship in school history. Coach Ashley Sandoval-Colon was named WSC North Coach of the Year. Freshman Pitcher Amanda Smith was named WSC North Pitcher of Year, the 15th Raider to do so. They ended the year at El Camino in the CCCAA SoCal Regionals.

Women's Golf finished runner-up to College of the Canyons in WSC action and finished runner-up in Southern Cal Regionals, besting COC by 2 strokes. The Raiders finished 5th at the CCCAA State Tournament.

Women's Soccer finished in 3rd place, making the CCCAA SoCal Regionals for the first time in 8 years.

Men's Volleyball was 3rd in WSC and qualified for the CCCAA State play-offs.

Football might not have finished like they wanted but the highlight of the year was QB Macloud Crowton. Crowton re-wrote the MC record book, breaking 11 passing records.

Wrestling had 3 CCCAA State placers led by Jezziel Perez's (Birmingham HS) runner-up finish at 174 pounds. Gabe Carrillo (Royal HS) finished in 5th at 157 lbs and Cameron Fernando (La Canada HS) was 8th.

Beach Volleyball had 2 duos qualify for the CCCAA State Tournament. Both duos of Larissa Dakoske and Grace HazeltonCashe Olswang and Alesia Thomas finished in the State top ten to complete the Beach season. Dakoske/Hazelton completed the tournament with a 5-1 record to finish 3rd overall while Olswang/Thomas went 2-2 to place 8th.

Men's Cross Country was 5th in WSC whle the Women were 13th.
