The Moorpark College wrestling team had a stellar 2022 campaign, highlighted by four wrestlers, three of which finished in the top 10 of their respective weight classes at the CCCAA State Championships Dec. 9-10, 2022 at West Hills College.
Zach Zernik (141 pounds) reached the quarterfinals and finished 8th. Armando Renteria Jr. (165) reached the round of 16 before also finishing 8th. Landen Degennaro (174) reached the round of 16.
The Raiders' top finisher was Aiden Hansen (149), who reached the semifinals before placing 5th overall.
Kudos to head coach Lindley Kistler, his staff and athletes for a fantastic and successful season.
