The Women's Cross Country team competed at the Oxnard College Invitational last Friday and came away with a third place finish. It was the first time the Raiders had a full team and the first time some of the women ran in a college meet. 

The Raiders were paced Giselle Gonzalez's 12th place finish. She ran the 5K course in 20.20. Kayla Saxon was the second to cross the finish line at 15th place with a time of 20.26. Addison Pereira came in at 25th place in a time of 21.16. Geidenn Gonzales was in 28th place at 21.55. Keira Kassi, 22.05, Arianna Jimenez, 22.44, Natalia Beltran, 22.54, Isabella Shattuck, 22.59, and Ada Muzoglu, 23.36.

Overall Coach Traycie Kephart was pleased with women's overall performance being it was the first race for most of them.

The Raiders will be back in action this Friday, 9/13 at the So Cal Preview meet hosted by Chaffey College.
