The Women's Volleyball team got their 2024 season off to a quick start. 

They opened the season with a 3-1 surprising win over Irvine Valley, who was a State Semi-finalist last year. 

The following week the Raiders hosted Long Beach City mid-week which turnred into a nail-biter. After it was all said and done, the Vikings prevailed in a 5 set marathon. Game scores were 23-25, 25-20, 25-14, 17-25, & 5-15. Alesia Thomas had 20 kills and 10 digs. Grace Hazelton added 14 kills and 8 digs.

To cap off the week, the Raiders traveled to College of the Desert to take on the host and Fullerton in a double-header format.

Playing the host first, the Raiders dominated the Roadrunners, sweeping them, 3-0. Game scores were 25-13, 25-23, & 25-17. In the second match of the day, the Raiders swept Fullerton, 3-0. 25-17, 25-14, & 25-8.

The Raiders will be at Pasadena City, Wednesday, 9/4 @6p before heading to Mt Sac to take on Grossmont and Mt Sac, Friday, 9/6, 12p & 2p
