The perfect October.

The Moorpark College women's volleyball team finished the month of October 8-0 after sweeping LA Mission on Friday at home. The Raiders win streak includes wins over LA Pierce (twice), LA Mission (twice), Santa Barbara, Ventura Cuesta and College of the Canyons.

In the eight victories, the team has only dropped three sets - outscoring its opponents 24-3 in sets.

The Raiders will finish Western State Conference play next week with two homes games against Santa Barbara (Nov. 5) and Cuesta (Nov. 10). Moorpark will finish the regular season on Nov. 15 against Antelope Valley College.

Moorpark is currently 15-4 overall and 7-1 in WSC play - one game ahead of 6-2 Ventura for first place.
