The Women's Soccer opened their season on the road at Pasadena City College. The Raiders and Lancers battled for 89 minutes before the Lancers served a ball into the box but the Raiders couldn't clear it and the second ball got past So. Keeper Emma Ott in the 90th minute to give Pasadena the win, 1-0. Ott had 9 saves for the match and the Raiders had 6 shots.
In their second match, the Raiders traveled to take on East LA at Weingart Stadium. It turned out to be the Lacy Roberts Show. The freshman from Simi Valley HS scored in the 24th minute and 75th minute. The Raiders had a total of 20 shots in the 2-0 win over the Huskies.
The Raiders were scheduled to play Santiago Canyon in their home opener on Friday, 9/6 but the conditions exceeded excessive heat standards and that game will be re-schedued at a later date.
The Raiders are scheduled to host El Camino on Tuesday, 9/10 at 1:30p before hopping on the road to LA Harbor, Friday, 9/13 at 6p.
