The #4 Women's Basketball team picked up 3 wins at the Okawa Classic hosted by East LA. The Raiders defeated Long Beach, 55-51, Skyline College of the Coast North Conference, 70-58 and San Bernardino Valley College, 112-41. With the 3 wins, the Raiders complete their non-conference schedule and now turn their attention to the title defense of their WSC North crown and eye on their 6th straight championship.
The Raiders were led by Marianne Boco who averaged 18 points per game on the week-end. Alyssa Saldana averaged 10.3 points per game at the Classic.
The Raiders are currently 12-4 on the year with their 4 losses to #1 Sequioas (2), #2 Mt Sac and #3 Orange Coast. They will take a 10 day break and will open WSC North action at Santa Barbara on January 8th at 5p
